Apprentice Web Developer / IT Technician
To design bespoke websites for clients, be responsible for installation at client sites. To provide technical support to clients, identifying and resolving any technical support issues as quickly as possible to ensure minimal disruption to clients.
- Annual wage - £9,379.50. Salary increases in line with performance to a industry comparable wage.
- Working week - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, may work evenings and weekends. Total hours per week: 37.5
- Expected apprenticeship duration - 18 months
- Possible start date - 19 September 2022
- Apprenticeship level - Advanced Level Apprenticeship. Level 3 (A level)
What will the apprentice be doing?
• To be responsible for coding using a variety of software, working with
different content management systems and search engine optimisation.
• To design the website's visual imagery ensuring it's in line with the company
branding policy or the requirements of the client.
• To set up hardware and install and configure software and drivers
• To maintain and repair technological equipment or peripheral devices
• To install well-functioning LAN/WAN and other networks and manage components.
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
- Level 3 qualification
- Training will be at our office in Halesworth
- One day a week
